Meet Dr Andrea Weidner

Owner & Lead Veterinarian, Frost Family Pet Clinic

Dr. Andrea Weidner is the owner of Frost Family Pet Clinic and a dedicated veterinarian with more than 20 years of experience. She earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Illinois in 2005 and has since built her career around delivering compassionate, high-quality care to pets and the families who love them.

Dr. Weidner has a special passion for dental health and believes that preventative dental care is one of the best ways to help pets live longer, happier lives. She also serves as the clinic’s primary soft tissue surgeon, offering skilled surgical care with a patient-centered and attentive approach.

Growing up on her family farm in northern Illinois sparked Dr. Weidner’s lifelong love for animals and shaped her commitment to veterinary medicine. She continues to support her profession by serving on the board of the Northern Illinois Veterinary Medical Association.

In 2019, Dr. Weidner was honored to purchase the clinic from its founder, Dr. Frost, after having the opportunity to work closely with him. She is dedicated to carrying forward his legacy of compassionate, high-quality care for your furry family members.
